My inspired comes from my hiking, shing, exploring and traversing through the landscape of Taos and its neighboring communities. With my faithful Blue Heeler, Luna, who’s always by my side. I always make it a point to carry a sketchbook, pencils, and a set of gouache paints to document the scenes that catch my eye whether drawn to a particular play of light, a vibrant color palette, or a compelling composition. When I return to the studio, some of these eld sketches transition onto the canvas. Once there, they take on a life of their own, exploding with emotion and rich color. Enjoy!
